The technology for MRI temperature monitoring is deployed at institutions around the world for applications including phantom studies, implantable device testing, patient monitoring, and RF ablation surgery. The technology measures temperatures with 0.1 °C accuracy at 0.01 °C resolutions, which is 10x the performance of alternate solutions. Coupling low noise electronics with a phosphor decay technology, OSENSA has created sensors that are immune to magnetic or RF and Microwave fields.
All OSENSA systems are available with temperatures sensors, temperature transmitters (signal conditioners), as well as OSENSA view software , along with accessories and digital/analog output for temperature controllers.

This is a two-channel system with PRB-242 probes shown as blue spots. Shown is a FTX-200 Temperature Transmitter on a short USB Base with Osensa View graphing software on the computer. The Fiber Optic probes are typically used for measuring temperature in MRI Scans. The actual temperature sensor location is indicated by the Blue spot that glows at the end of the fiber optic probe. When doing measurements, the goal is to align the glowing probe spot onto the device you will measure the temperature. This helps ensure accurate probe placement.
